Telling the story of how 5Packs Crochet came into being should come naturally to a writer, but it's proven to be incredibly difficult for me. Well, here goes.

About ten years ago, my decades old love for crafting and my renewed obsession with crochet blossomed into something more than a stress relieving hobby - with one photo. That photo, of my daughter's first Easter dress, led me down a path to my first custom order, the publication of my first pattern, and the opening of my Etsy shop.

As for the name of the shop, 5Packs represents the five Packs in my family, which includes my husband, two sons, daughter, and me. Beyond the name, however, 5Packs Crochet primarily consists of just me crocheting furiously and scribbling down designs in the wee hours. The other four Packs and a Holt (my mom) provide me with encouragement, support and unconditional love, which all starving artists need almost as much as time, materials and talent.

My little shop offers a variety of crochet patterns, ready to ship, and custom order items, and my motto is "If it's crochet...I can make it or I won't give up until I can."
